One Proud Pappa and One Tough Army Soldier

Hilton Field, Ft. Jackson, South Carolina

Jon-David took some time off last week to watch his 3rd Son from his first family graduate boot camp. PV2 Mitchell Wells left as a boy and when he walked across the field last week Jon-David knew his son was a man. Through the tears of joy came the words only a father could say to his son. He explained to Mitchell that he couldn't express enough how proud he was and how much he admired his son for pursuing him dreams and turning them into reality. With a hand shake and a hug Jon-David knew his son was on to greater things and would be just fine.

After graduation PV2 Wells was on his way to Ft. Sill, Oklahoma where he will be attending Advanced Individual Training (AIT). He hopes to join special forces and eventually serve his country working for the FBI.

PV2 Wells was named “Soldier of the Series, 3rd Platoon, Delta Company, 3 Battalion, 34th Infantry Regiment.”

Congratulations from The Wells Report!
