SeaWorld San Antonio stopped by The Wells Report Studios at 660 KSKY on Thursday.  Jon-David got hands on with a python named Mello Yellow.  Here Clay Calabaja helps Jon-David support this gentle giant.  No, you're hopes are dashed, Mello Yellow had no interest in crushing Jon-David.  He only wanted to smell the justin.tv camera.

The message of caring and respect for the world we share is woven throughout the show – encouraging guests to make a difference through their own everyday actions.

Richardson Central Rotary Club is offering a reward for information leading to whoever damaged 70 American Flags

The Richardson Central Rotary Club is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of whoever destroyed or damaged about 70 American flags in the Canyon Creek area on July 7 or 8.

The flags are placed in the area every year as a joint project between the club, the homeowners association and several Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops.

US Space Program Spawned Many Things You Use Everyday

(Reuters) - As the United States prepares to end its space shuttle program, technologies developed to nurture the reusable spaceships through three decades of flight will live on in day-to-day use on Earth.  Shuttle Atlantis and its four-member crew are due back at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 5:57 a.m. EDT on Thursday after a mission to resupply the International Space Station, a $100 billion project of 16 nations, currently orbiting about 250 miles above the planet.  NASA points to the station, finished this year after 12 years of assembly by shuttle crews, as the program's crowning achievement, but it is far from the only one.  Read the entire story here.


Jon-David has a message for President Obama regarding the ending of the Space Program.

“The United States enjoys a multi-decade technological edge on the rest of the world, due in great measure to the work of NASA and its Contractors. Any political decision cutting NASA’s budget in general, and the Manned Space Program in specific, removes at least one of the main motivations for maintaining that edge. It’s foolish and short-sighted to think otherwise.”
